What you get

Patterneded edges create stripes

Cover your bake with a generous coating of frosting, buttercream or royal icing and, while it’s still soft, hold your chosen scraper vertical and run the patterned edge round your cake. This will leave a series of horizontal stripes around your bake, some standing proud and some recessed, giving it a professional-looking finish with absolutely no effort.

Straight edges give a smooth finish

You could stick with a fancy patterned effect only, but these scrapers are fantastic for creating contrasting colour effects too. Just pipe differently coloured icing into the recessed stripes, then smooth over the whole cake using a straight edge to give a perfectly smooth, professional-standard finish. Not just for cakes, the straight edge is ideal for cutting and sectioning bread and cookie dough into separate portions

Round and curved edges handle dough

Removing dough from the bowl can be sticky business. And when it hardens, it can be almost impossible to loosen. With the round- and curved-edge scrapers, shaped to work around the inside of a baking bowl, it’s easy to knead dough when it’s soft, and unstick it once it’s hardened.
