Cafetières come in so many shapes and sizes and designs we couldn’t possibly sell all of them, but once in a while we find one that’s just too beautiful to pass up… like this lovely, silver-coloured 8-Cup Cafetière by Barista & Co.

Beautifully made – and plastic-free

Gorgeously styled, the jug is made from high-quality borosilicate glass, with beautiful detailing around the handle and a brushed silver-effect finish to the base and top. The fine metal filter is also made from stainless steel, which helps preserve your coffee’s natural oils and ensure every cup it produces is wonderfully smooth. And there are no other materials used, just glass and steel – which means that it’s completely plastic-free.

Easy to use and clean

With a traditional plunge action, it comes apart for easier cleaning, and the glass beaker is dishwasher safe.

Born, bred and based in the UK, Barista and Co. are a group of coffee lovers with a strong belief that great coffee doesn’t need to be exclusive, secretive or complex, but should be enjoyed by all, and they aim to help us enjoy superb coffee wherever we may be. Keen to work ethically, they have picked up on a traditional Italian coffee drinkers’ tradition called ‘caffe sospeso’, which translates (loosely) to ‘buy a coffee, give a coffee’ – so when you buy any Barista and Co. product they donate a coffee to the homeless or less fortunate in their nearest town (Bournemouth) – and they also donate to Project Waterfall which seeks to improve access to water for communities across the coffee growing world.
