Less work, less dust

Catching 99% of airborne dust before it settles on surfaces, not only does it dramatically decrease the amount of dust in any given room, but it eliminates the need to vacuum and dust every inch, meaning you can spend more time relaxing while the DustMagnet™ takes care of business.

How it clears the air (the science bit)

Using DustMagnet™ technology, it’s designed to stimulate air movement and draw a high volume of dust into the filter through its dual inlet system. It does this through electrostatic filtration, negatively charging dust particles in the air, which then attracts them to the positively charged pre-filter like a magnet – and if that doesn’t make an awful lot of sense, never mind, it’ll work just the same!

HEPASilent™ technology removes allergens

As well as getting rid of dust, the HEPASilent™ filtration technology also removes allergens from the air, including (deep breath) pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mould, some bacteria and viruses, VOCs, chemicals, smoke and cooking odours. Which has to be a good thing. And it does so with minimum noise and using minimum energy too.

Easy to use and connect

With discreet, two-button controls, it’s easy to use – there’s no fiddling with confusing settings. The Auto mode and smart sensor adjust the fan speed according to the air quality in your home, so you won’t have to monitor or modify any settings because it’s all being done for you – but if you would like to assess the air quality, there’s a five-colour air quality indicator clearly displaying all the information you need. And if you want to know everything that your DustMagnet™ is doing for you, it has built-in WiFi connectivity so you can connect it to the Blueair app to get a more in-depth air quality report, and check the filter status to let you know when it might need replacing. If you’re looking to save energy, it will turn on when you’re getting close to home, meaning you get the benefit of it as soon as you walk through the door, without having to leave it switched on while you’re out. It also connects to your smart speakers, so you can control it simply by speaking to it. Clever, eh?

As if that wasn’t enough, it has a night mode that automatically dims the LED lights and runs at the lowest speed to help you have a peaceful, uninterrupted sleep.
