Circulon SteelShield Non-Stick Stainless Steel C-Series 22cm Frying Pan
Product number: 27283
More than up to the challenge of sizzling your stir-fry veg or a couple of salmon fillets, Circulon’s SteelShield Steel C-Series 22cm non-stick frying pan is extremely durable, and offers a striking upgrade for anyone who usually swears by a stainless steel pan. And with its unrivalled heat control, we’re sure you’ll be as impressed as we were.
What is SteelShield?
The SteelShield Clad C-Series is a range of hybrid pans that combine the best of both worlds – high performing stainless steel that’s often chosen for great results and maximum durability, clad with an incredible non-stick coating for ultimate food release and easy clean up. And the ante has been upped with next-level SteelSheild technology, so you can cook from scratch, without scratches on your non-stick. Metal utensils? Bring ‘em on!
Cooks like steel, cleans like non-stick
Stainless steel pans are well known for their cooking performance, and now Circulon have made them even better and easier to clean, maximising all that’s great about them. Their SteelShield technology is revolutionary stuff, with unique raised stainless steel peaks that protect the non-stick for the most durable cooking surface yet, and allow optimal air flow for perfect crisping, browning and searing of food.
Ultra-durable construction
Constructed to last, their tri-ply clad bodies have a responsive pure aluminium core for exceptional temperature control, bonded together with two layers of stainless steel all the way around for unrivalled durability. And with hybrid SteelShield non-stick interiors and highly-polished, mirror-finished exteriors, they look as smart as they cook.
Efficient tempered glass lids
Engineered to fit snugly, the tempered glass saucepan lids trap steam to retain moisture in food. And because you can cook with little to no water, vital nutrients and flavours are sealed in, cooking time is reduced and – most importantly – veg stays crisp and tender instead of becoming soggy. Some veg only needs to be rinsed before cooking, and the residual droplets are enough to create the perfect amount of steam.
Attention to detail
As you’d expect from Circulon, no little detail has been overlooked. The lid handles don’t just look stylish – they’re comfortable to grip and cleverly designed to stay cool, so you can cook without worry. And the riveted stainless steel pan handles ensure a safe grip, while the unique, patented flat rivet system helps maintain a sleek look and ensure everything’s easy to clean.
Suitable for all hobs
With a thick steel base, they’re suitable for all hobs, including induction, so they’ll make cooking a breeze in any kitchen, and sealed, rolled edges protect against boil over and corrosion, and make them truly dishwasher safe.
Easy to use and care for
Circulon say their SteelShield Clad C-Series range is built for life, and each pan comes with their lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee. With a little care, your hybrid pans will last and last and last. The SteelShield rings perform best when hot, so preheat your pan for a minute or two before adding oil. The thick bases retain heat, so you can cook at lower settings than you might be used to, and if any food does get stuck on when you’re searing or caramelising, Circulon recommend adding a splash of water when the pan is still hot, loosening browned bits and making them even easier to clean away.
Suitable for all hobs, including induction, they’re BPA and PFAO free, oven safe up to 260°C, metal utensil-friendly and dishwasher safe.
Lifetime manufacturer’s guarantee.
